I got the following result during upgrade:

rpm -Uvh XFree86-devel-3.3.5-1.5.x.i386.rpm
XFree86-devel

free list corrupt (3357320)- contact rpm-list

Run rpm --rebuilddb and then try upgrading. Reopen if
the problem persists.
