I am experiencing various problems with a 945GME chipset, including video tearing and failure to automaticallyrecognize an appropriate monitor resolution. The current driver under Fedora 11 is xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.7.0-7. What's up with that? The driver developers have already release 2.8.0 and 2.8.1. Why are these not making there way through the Fedora pipeline? Please wake up and give us these updates, which include bug fixes.
Please provide the output of: rpm -q xorg-x11-drv-intel uname -a
Hi Adam, follows the output of the: root@dellbook2:/root # rpm -q xorg-x11-drv-intel xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.7.0-7.fc11.x86_64 root@dellbook2:/root # uname -a Linux dellbook2.webbertek 2.6.30.5-43.fc11.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Aug 27 21:39:52 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux root@dellbook2:/root # []'s Claudemir.
