Description Marcela Mašláňová 2009-08-28 12:20:53 UTC
Description of problem:
After update to the rawhide I have to manually run dhclient eth0 because I don't obtain ip address.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
NetworkManager.x86_64 1:0.7.995-3.git20090813.fc12
NetworkManager-glib.x86_64 1:0.7.995-3.git20090813.fc12
NetworkManager-gnome.x86_64 1:0.7.995-3.git20090813.fc12
NetworkManager-openvpn.x86_64 1:0.7.1-2.git20090714.fc12
NetworkManager-vpnc.x86_64 1:0.7.0.99-3.fc12

How reproducible:
after every reboot

Actual results:
Without network after restart

Expected results:
Functional network.

Additional info:
I suppose this could happen with some change in configuration files or change in NM. Which files should I check?

Does this still happen with latest rawhide? I know we fixed a bunch of stuff in the DHCP/IP config area back in September. Thanks!

Thanks, fixed in rawhide.

But I wonder if you could create some test suite, if it is possible to test it automatically. I have this problem in every release. Now it's broken for me on other computer on fully updated F-11.
