Description Jan Pazdziora (Red Hat) 2009-09-02 09:21:07 UTC
Description of problem:

When installing Satellite,

* Applying updates.

message is shown and updates/update.sh is run. On none of the composes do we ship any "updating" rpm. We should remove updates/README and updates/update.sh, and the install_updates_packages from install.pl.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Satellite 5.3.0.

How reproducible:

Deterministic.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Check compose/ISO (run ls updates/*) and run installation.

Actual results:

updates/README  updates/rhelrpms  updates/update.sh

and

* Applying updates.

Expected results:

updates/rhelrpms

and not Applying updates message during installation.

Additional info:

Maybe we could rename the updates/rhelrpms to some other name/directory as well.
