Description of problem: When the knetworkmanager tray icon is added to the panel, it seems to detect my wlan just fine. However, clicking the network in the icon menu seems to do nothing. Nm-applet and cnetworkmanager work just fine on the same machine. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): knetworkmanager-0.8-0.21.20090815svn.fc11.i586 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a default Fedora 11 installation where networking is manager by networkmanager 2. Stop nm-applet, start knetworkmanager 3. Click the knetworkmanager tray icon 4. Click a WPA-protected network visible in the menu Actual results: Nothing happens Expected results: Knetworkmanager tells me that it's connecting, and seconds later that it's connected.
Now that I tried it again after a while, knetworkmanager seems to work fine.
closing as NOTABUG We did not provide knetworkmanager in F-11 and never had a 0.8 anything version. https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=2232 shows all the builds we shipped in the past
knetworkmanager-0.8 is built from the kde-plasma-networkmanagement SRPM, it is the monolithic KDE 4 systray applet from http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/base/plasma/applets/networkmanager/monolithic/
