Description of problem: Running system-config-printer on my updated FC11 T60p machine hangs with high CPU utilization. Even after several minutes, the window doesn't repaint nor shows the available printers. Running system-config-printer --debug shows the following: Connected as user root refresh Created subscription 59 <monitor.Monitor instance at 0x8c0c7ec>: printers and jobs lists provided update_jobs Authentication pass: 1 Authentication: password callback set Authentication pass: 1 Authentication: password callback set Authentication pass: 1 Authentication: password callback set Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): system-config-printer-1.1.8-6.fc11.i586 How reproducible: Every time on this computer. Steps to Reproduce: 1. run system-config-printer Actual results: Window frame shows up, CPU spikes, but no content shown. Expected results: Available printers listed. Additional info:

I see the same behaviour. Starting s-c-p with cups stopped is a possible workaround.
