Try rotating the primary display - change the Rotation drop down and hit apply. 2. try and change back to the normal orientation. Actual results: Screen loads slowly. Expected results: Screen loads instantly.

Created attachment 361675 [details] screenshot for the broken gnome-display-properties Due to bug 522129, it has to use the version xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.12.2-19.fc12. As the results, there is no other choice for Rotation other than "Normal" (as in the screenshot).
Since this bugzilla report was filed, there have been several major updates in various components of the Xorg system, which may have resolved this issue. Users who have experienced this problem are encouraged to upgrade their system to the latest version of their packages (at least F12Beta, but even better if the very latest versions). Please, if you experience this problem on the up-to-date system, let us now in the comment for this bug, or whether the upgraded system works for you.
