Comment 1 Dave Jones 2009-09-25 19:02:26 UTC
Fedora 12 no longer supports 586 class CPUs (which includes 686 without cmov, like early VIA)

Comment 2 Dave Morris 2010-04-18 00:58:05 UTC
"Fedora 12 no longer supports 586 class CPUs"

In which case, please change the name of the iso files.

Fedora-12-i686-Live.iso makes it clear that it won't run on an old (i586) system.

Fedora-12-i386-disc1.iso implies that this would run on an old cpu.
