Not sure whether is it PulseAudio or gnome-media.
Reproducable on my box (x86_64). Try watch -n1 "ps -e | grep gnome-volume", its definitely gnome-volume-control which crashes. package ------- gnome-media-2.27.91-1.fc12.x86_64 kernel ------ 2.6.31-2.fc12.x86_64
What's the actual assertion message?
newman@dhcp-lab-124 ~ $ gnome-volume-control ** ERROR:gvc-mixer-card.c:200:_pa_context_set_card_profile_by_index_cb: assertion failed: (card->priv->target_profile) Aborted
I could reproduce it easily, this build should fix it: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=1683248 Can you please test before I ask for it to be pushed upstream?
Fixed, thanks.
Great, thanks.
