This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 12 development cycle. Changing version to '12'. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping
This appears to be a dupe of 540962. In both cases pango_layout_new() causes the signal handler in the JVM to be invoked, causing the VM to abort. Since 540962 has more comments and feedback, I am marking this bug as a duplicate of that. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 540962 ***
