screenshot showing midori segfault

* using F12-Snap3-i686-Live-XFCE.torrent
* F12 qemu/virtual machine
* run midori in terminal window

when running midori as the liveuser, a segfault occurs (see attached screenshot)

Comment 1 Brock Organ 2009-09-23 19:57:56 UTC
confirmed same behavior with F12-Snap3-x86_64-Live-XFCE.torrent ...

as a data point firefox starts without segfault using this snapshot (though this is not the case with 12-Snap3-i686-Live-XFCE.torrent, see bug 525001)

Comment 2 Kevin Fenzi 2009-09-23 21:11:39 UTC
you can gather more info with:

debuginfo-install midori
yum install gdb
gdb midori
run
thread apply all bt full

I'm moving this to the midori package for further debugging.

Hi Kevin,

unfortunately, the networking interface is not up, so I'm not able to get the debuginfo midori package and gdb installed ... :(

Can you disable SELinux and try again. If it's SELinux, it's most likely a duplicate of bug # 516057.

Comment 5 Christoph Wickert 2009-09-24 14:14:58 UTC
Feedback on #fedora-qa:

(16:10:06) jkoten: disabling Selinux solved the problem with midori

Closing in favor of bug #516057
