Quite noticeable on gnome-shell which has a black panel.
Changes under the ticket seems to have fixed the issue, what do we need to do for this in Fedora. http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/2629

This is fixed in pidgin-2.7.0-2.fc12.x86_64 for me.
