Use Fedora-20090923-x86_64-DVD.iso or a recent boot.iso image to perform a network install from the current "rawhide" tree. The issue was fixed in "rawhide" on 2009-09-25 issuing new packages for lvm2, device-mapper, etc.
Tested: http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/12-Beta-TC/Fedora-12-Beta-TC-x86_64-DVD/Fedora-12-Beta-x86_64-DVD.iso Works now. Closing as fixed in rawhide
