Description of problem: The last couple of kernels broke resume from s2ram for me. I just get a black screen and I can't shut down via the power button or ctrl+alt+delete. Nothing in the logs to help track it down either :-/ kernel-PAE-2.6.31.1-56.fc12.i686 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
I can suspend+resume if I go to the console and take the machine to runlevel 3 it seems. Maybe more fun with the intel drivers and xorg... This was with the latest xorg intel driver from koji (2.9.0.xx)
Looks like the machine is working, but the display is frozen somehow. I tried the hack with turning the display off and on again with xrandr --output LVDS1 --off/--auto but that didn't help.
This is caused by some vbetool/selinux interaction it seems. Marking as duplicate of this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=528022 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 528022 ***
