Description of problem: I submitted a bugreport. Apparently, I should have submitted it to you. Instead, since it came up after OpenOffice.org (OOo) Writer crashed, I submitted it to OOo. OOo replied that perhaps it should have gone to you. Please see <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=105400>, comment of Sep 29 5:53a. If that's correct, i.e., the crash report window was generated by Red Hat or Fedora, please clarify the window title or the opening lines in the window to say that the bug report should go to Red Hat's Bugzilla. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Unknown. For this report, I selected a component but have no idea if that component has anything to do with the problem. I don't know which component caused it. How reproducible: Reproducing requires a crash, which I don't want to try, and I don't know what it is that has to crash to reproduce this. Actual results: Bugreport window lacked information on which bug reporting system was applicable or which program generated the window. Expected results: Clarity, so that I'd file in the correct place, sooner. Additional info: Additional details, including possible crash diagnoses re gtk or Fedora, are in the OOo bug report (now closed) linked to above. I'm running a Pentium 4 Dell Latitude C840 laptop; I think that's a i686 platform. Thank you. -- Nick
Nay, it's not bug-buddy, but openoffice.org's own crash reporting tool. As Caolán said in comment to the upstream bug, we've switched crash handling to abrt in Rawhide, so I guess both we and upstream can "endure" another eight months (or how long it is before F-11's EOL) without changing that title...
