Created attachment 363712 [details] installation log from a system that did NOT have the gpg key installed Description of problem: When you go through the satellite install at the portion which solves dependencies from RHN, it does not account for a user having to hit 'y' to import the gpg key. Merely registering a system does not account for this, you have to either manually import the key: http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/docs/DOC-11264 or simply install an aibirtray package from RHN and hit 'y' so that it is imported prior to starting the Satellite install. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 5.3 (however, I am not sure if this is applicable to older versions of Satellite) How reproducible: Every time on a fresh system. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have either a registered system that has not yet imported the GPG key from RHN or use unregistered system and let Satellite register it for you during the install. 2. Start the install 3. Failure just after it does package download when solving dependencies Actual results: Installer exits gracefully complaining about an aribitray problem (does NOT mention anything about GPG keys) Expected results: Auto import of GPG key, or at least a prompt asking to import it.
Similar to bug 582244 - but in this case user is prompted to install. The other it fails.
