include kcm_touchpad in fedora dist.
On my todo list for tonight, actually :-)
Eh... This depends on libsynaptic, a customized version provided by the author of kcm_touchpad. libsynaptic hasn't been in Fedora since dist-f10, because SHM_CONFIG was disabled on recent releases by default (You have to install a customized HAL fdi policy file, or add an entry to your xorg.conf to enable it) So, basically for 90% of users, this package will be broken out of the box, and will basically be a **** to maintain. Unless Fedora by default starts to enable SHM_CONFIG there is no point in packaging this :(
Actually after posting this bug, I spent couple of hours on that as well. For some (maybe the same) reason: the gui didn't make any effect on the synaptics configuration. Before I enabled SHM_CONFIG in xorg.conf it gave the usual error. Then I enabled the SHM_CONFIG in xorg.conf, I could manupulate snaptics by passing the configuration in xorg.conf, by using synclient but not by the tool. Thanks for your time anyway...
Per http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/kcm_touchpad?content=113335 0.2.0 I am reopening this bug. It will be marked as a duplicate of the review request when it is online... (later tonight with any luck)
