the problem disappear when i open gnome-user-share and i press and unpress "receive the files over bluetooth in the folder downloads" the service "sdptool browse local" sometimes doesn't start. Service Name: OBEX Object Push Service RecHandle: 0x10008 Service Class ID List: "OBEX Object Push" (0x1105) Protocol Descriptor List: "L2CAP" (0x0100) "RFCOMM" (0x0003) Channel: 9 "OBEX" (0x0008) Profile Descriptor List: "OBEX Object Push" (0x1105) Version: 0x0100 The services are running [maximi89@gateway ~]$ ps -e |grep gnome-user-shar 10792 ? 00:00:00 gnome-user-shar [maximi89@gateway ~]$ ps -e |grep obex-data-ser 10568 pts/1 00:00:00 obex-data-serve and this place say the configuration of what runs or not... [maximi89@gateway ~]$ gconftool-2 -a /desktop/gnome/file_sharing bluetooth_obexpush_enabled = true bluetooth_accept_files = bonded_and_trusted bluetooth_enabled = false bluetooth_notify = true enabled = false require_password = never bluetooth_require_pairing = true bluetooth_allow_write = false To fix momentaneously the problem, i do the next: Open gnome-user-share and press and unpress the box of "receive the files over bluetooth in the folder downloads", then check if "Service Name: OBEX Object Push" start, use "sdptool browse local"
The last was for a bug into gnome-user-share, because i was unable to receive files into my computer.
well, gnome-file-share-properties like i said here, when i connect the device, the service "Service Name: OBEX Object Push" some times doesn't start, so that is the reason because can't receive files, but to fix momentaniosly this issue, you can uncheck and check the box of "receive files from bluetooth to downloads" that start the service like is expected... so this bug is relationed to gnome-file-share-properties because option is supposed to work automatically because is activated from gnome-file-share-properties but it doesn't works.
this bug was a problem with an application, when i was try to search with the APP, the telephone leaves the bluetooth channel busy, i going to open a new bug, because the bluetooth who i have can't scan for bluetooth devices, i try this with another laptop with windows vista who can see me, but my bluetooth was unable to see any devices on the room, where was only the computer and some devices like telehpones.
