In Systems -> Kickstart -> Profiles -> Software -> Package Groups there are (at least) two checkboxes missing. One should add --nobase and the other --ignoremissing to %packages. Right now, One would have to list all packages from @Base with a minus in front of it to achieve --nobase and --ignoremissing isn't even possible at all. Of course, one could also upload a kickstart file featuring those parameters, but I'm sure it won't hurt the wizard to implement this features.

    A minimal @base installation installs around 370 packages, with nobase checked
    around 150 packages are installed.

The options are there and seem to work, though no thorough testing has been done yet.

This bug has been fixed in Spacewalk 1.3.
