Description kenn 1999-09-22 11:38:12 UTC
I'm running syslogd-1.3.31-6 on RH6. I'm
running it as

  syslogd -m 0 -r

It is receiving log messages from two other systems
(one is RH4.2 and one is RH4.1).

After running for almost 2 weeks, the data size
reaches about 11MB.

Grab the latest glibc from Raw Hide, or turn off
NIS/NISplus in /etc/nsswitch.conf.
