Description Alex Lancaster 2009-10-19 23:48:34 UTC
Several packages, including some octave-forge packages and mathgl won't build with the version 1.3.39 of SWIG that is in F-11. (mathgl needs a rebuild for an the Octave 3.2.x update).

Please issue an update to F-11 for SWIG 1.3.40 to fix this.

Thanks, is possible that you could request rel-eng for a buildroot override for this swig so I can rebuild mathgl using the new swig, so that the Octave 3.2.x update can include mathgl? Thanks.

Comment 3 Fedora Update System 2009-10-21 00:51:51 UTC
swig-1.3.40-1.fc11 has been pushed to the Fedora 11 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.

It shouldn't be needed, I pushed swig directly to stable. Everything should be OK now.

Great, thanks, yes that seemed to fix the mathgl build and I added it to the pending Octave 3.2.x update.
