just to clarify, this is when something goes wrong during boot and the 'enter root password for maintenance' prompt is displayed. reporter confirmed that with plymouth disabled, this works as expected, so it's plymouth-specific. -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers
