Description of problem:

F12 beta (2.6.31.5-96.fc12.x86_64)


How reproducible:

every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. right mous click on panel -> properties -> background -> 
   choose for solid colour

  
Actual results:
session crashes, user is loged out and there is no way to login back

Expected results:
changing background in panel

Additional info:
i have to actually remove gnome configs from user dir for him to be able to login back.

nvidia graphics?

Can you attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log ?

indeed nvidia graphics (without a nvidia driver)

This is not a duplicate of 530169, however, luckily this particular bug is fixed already as of xorg-x11-server-1.7.0-5.

confirmed, new xorg server package (got it from koji) does indeed fix it..

xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.7.1-2.fc12.x86_64
