The kvm kmod package uses some non-whitelisted kernel symbols (see bug #533197), and because of that, the dependency check for a compatible kernel won't be complete, as we don't have "ksym(...)" provides/requires on the kernel/kvm packages for non-whitelisted symbols. For this reason, the kvm package must have a explicit kernel version dependency for kernel versions that provide the required symbols (e.g. "Requires: kernel >= 2.6.18-159.el5").
