i'm pretty sure this bug was auto-raised from seapplet.  so if this is insufficient data should that be raised as a bug against setroubleshoot?

If by chance you are using the nvidia drivers you might have to turn off the execstack checking.


# setsebool -P allow_execstack 1

aaaah!  that could well be it.  thanks for the tip.

i'll get the whole message and try that sebool tonight.  if that sorts it i'll raise a bug on rpmfusion to see if the nvidia maintainer there can do something.
