Steps to reproduce 1) Open IE (7 if that makes any difference) and go to Tools>General>Languages and add the de-DE language, and put it at the top of the list, e.g. so it should be used in preference to en-us. 2) Go to the Timeline subtab on a resource with some events in, e.g. RHQ server normally 3) Instead of seeing the events, you'll get the error shown in screenshots1.
This seem very close to what is being seen in case 231852.
Verified with Safari and FF3, but not IE. But as I was able to reproduce the original issue with Safari too, I think it should work for IE too - but QA or someone with IE should test it nevertheless.
blocked by linked bug. since it's already fixed let's just wait for next build to verify this. i won't push it back through the workflow.
I just get the "Loading Resource Events" box that stays there forever. No error message, but the page still doesn't work. rev3351
Jeff: What browser and locale? I am using that tab with multiple browsers and all with German locale without issues.
Heiko, I just did a bit more testing, it happens in English locale also (and probably all locales). This is IE6. There is a javascript error, I will attach screenshot.
The Timeline on IE6 issue has been recorded in RHQ-1721
Sending back to dev. They'll return this to our queue when the linked dependency is resolved.
since RHQ-1721 isn't making it into 1.2, and since verifying this issue is blocked by it, this will be pushed out as well
After fixing RHQ-1721 I wasn't able to reproduce this anymore.
Fixed, rev3819
