Description Charles Crouch 2008-10-22 18:56:00 UTC
Steps to reproduce
1) Open IE (7 if that makes any difference) and go to Tools>General>Languages and add the de-DE language, and put it at the top of the list, e.g. so it should be used in preference to en-us.
2) Go to the Timeline subtab on a resource with some events in, e.g. RHQ server normally
3) Instead of seeing the events, you'll get the error shown in screenshots1.

Comment 1 Charles Crouch 2008-10-22 19:05:15 UTC
This seem very close to what is being seen in case 231852.

Comment 2 Heiko W. Rupp 2009-02-06 11:19:01 UTC
Verified with Safari and FF3, but not IE. But as I was able to reproduce the original issue with Safari too, I think it should work for IE too - but QA or someone with IE should test it nevertheless.

Comment 3 Jeff Weiss 2009-03-06 16:20:46 UTC
blocked by linked bug. since it's already fixed let's just wait for next build to verify this. i won't push it back through the workflow.

Comment 4 Jeff Weiss 2009-03-12 19:15:09 UTC
I just get the "Loading Resource Events" box that stays there forever. No error message, but the page still doesn't work. rev3351

Comment 5 Heiko W. Rupp 2009-03-13 08:42:57 UTC
Jeff: What browser and locale? I am using that tab with multiple browsers and all with German locale without issues.

Comment 6 Jeff Weiss 2009-03-13 13:07:19 UTC
Heiko,

I just did a bit more testing, it happens in English locale also (and probably all locales). This is IE6. There is a javascript error, I will attach screenshot.

Comment 7 Heiko W. Rupp 2009-03-17 16:17:34 UTC
The Timeline on IE6 issue has been recorded in RHQ-1721

Comment 8 Jeff Weiss 2009-04-06 19:45:38 UTC
Sending back to dev. They'll return this to our queue when the linked dependency is resolved.

Comment 9 Joseph Marques 2009-04-09 05:22:43 UTC
since RHQ-1721 isn't making it into 1.2, and since verifying this issue is blocked by it, this will be pushed out as well

Comment 10 Lukas Krejci 2009-04-21 15:25:09 UTC
After fixing RHQ-1721 I wasn't able to reproduce this anymore.

Comment 11 Jeff Weiss 2009-04-22 18:30:58 UTC
Fixed, rev3819
