I can't reproduce this steadily, but I have had it occur twice in the last five minutes, in the same area of the UI. Basically, I get an error 500 with an indication that there is something bad with the software license validation. Steps to repro (which may or may not work) 1. Navigate to $system > RHQ Server, JBossAS 4.2.1.GA default (0.0.0.0:2099) 2. Visit Inventory for RHQ server 3. Click edit to try and modify some of the connection properties. 4. Make a change, perhaps invalid, to a given field. Examples of ones I used that worked: * Binding Address - 0.0.0.0xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; submit * Start Script - mark the checkbox, unmark (Resulting in blank field); submit 5. View results. Expected results: Nothing out of the ordinary -- perhaps a validation error, but nothing /weird/. Current results: Very occasional error 500 talking about bad license. I was not able to repeat with either of the above examples, but it did happen with both, within 5 minutes of each other. See attached.
Additional note: If it even matters, the server providing the UI was listed as in 'maintenance' mode in HA. May be a red herring however.
Partha is also seeing this with RHQ HEAD as of today.
