This is specific to IE6, all other browsers (FF and IE7) display the table correctly padded and maximized to the current content pane width. 
IE6 seems to set the table's width regardless of the padding applied, thus forcing the content pane to have horizontal scrollbar.

Because the onc:config is used on quite a number of places this probably has larger impact than just this one page.
