Assigning to Greg since he wrote the mysql plugin...
greg won't have time to do this I don't think - anyone out in the community want to take over the mysql plugin?
I actually started fixing the plugin today, based on the postgres plugin. We are also working on a ldap plugin. Is it possible to get committer access or should we create a patch?
Feel free to attach patches to the JIRAs. if you are creating a new plugin (ldap) and you want to contribute it, just create a "New Feature" JIRA and attach patches to that JIRA. Thanks for your contributions! If you want to discuss in realtime, hop on freenode at #jopr
This bug was previously known as http://jira.rhq-project.org/browse/RHQ-2143
Temporarily adding the keyword "SubBug" so we can be sure we have accounted for all the bugs. keyword: new = Tracking + FutureFeature + SubBug
making sure we're not missing any bugs in rhq_triage
I've just pushed and update to the MySQL plugin by Steve Millidge (28ae734397d49586094f973c0db81f06fc394791). Can you please check if your issue has vanished?
I haven't used the plugin in a year or so, so I am unable to verify if the bug still exists.
The plugin has been superseded and the original issues do no longer show, so I think this could be closed.
original issues were compilation issues, which no longer show.
