Description fmatar 2009-09-10 10:38:00 UTC
Reproduction steps;
1. Create a new mixed group called 'Recursive Local Resources Group'
2. Set the group as recursive
3. Add the local platform to the group
4. Go to groups the newly created group is listed under the compatible groups yet when you click on it it shows all the respective recursive resources.

Comment 1 Jeff Weiss 2009-09-10 13:07:50 UTC
Fady, I can't reproduce. When I go to the inventory tab of the group, the "show recursive members" box is unchecked by default.

Comment 2 Joseph Marques 2009-09-10 14:03:39 UTC
the mixed/compatible nature of the group is determined by the resources that are explicitly added to the group. if you have added a single platform, the explicit resources will only contain one resource type, thus it should still be marked as compatible.

Comment 3 Jeff Weiss 2009-09-10 14:11:44 UTC
Again, this is not the way I see it working. I create a mixed group, add 1 platform, recursive. It stays a mixed group and when I view it, it shows just the platform. The "recursive" checkbox is unchecked. When I check it, then all the resources are shown.

Temporarily adding the keyword "SubBug" so we can be sure we have accounted for all the bugs.

keyword:
new = Tracking + FutureFeature + SubBug

Comment 6 wes hayutin 2010-02-16 16:59:50 UTC
making sure we're not missing any bugs in rhq_triage

Comment 7 Corey Welton 2010-10-07 03:44:57 UTC
