Enabling content discovery does not result in any content appearing for Fedora 11. RHEL variants seem to work, as do older Fedora releases, apparently. Steps to repro: 1. Begin monitoring a Fedora 11 resource 2. Enable Content discovery (Inventory > Connection > Enable Content Discovery) 3. Wait some time (after which you'd expect to see content appear) and go to the Content tab Current results: No RPM content Expected results: Content is populated.

commit ae1b4aea6794459b75c6ff4a3a5ab25c6cec0adc Fixing bug related to installed package discovery not working on F11 onwards
commit 169a92ba15bfbf8d891c45df2127d5d51da29375 One more update to the bug fix.
Commit added for the first part fixes the bug but it is not a correct fix as we do have sha256 attribute for rhq_package_version which should be used by package discovery code instead of md5sum whenever required. Moving back to assigned.
Fixed now with commit 0a9a2b744746902ce9b35f2e2acb85119dc9e78c and commit 4110081e9b89c26c26f1721b03e909d4ff4d81b9.
