Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 5366
sndconfig thinks my modem(Modem Blaster Flash 56 DI5601) is a sound card.
Last modified: 2014-03-16 22:10:03 EDT
When I run sndconfig, it probes for my sound card and
detects my modem as a sound card before it detects my real
sound card(Ensoniq PCI) That really messes up my modem in
Linux and keeps me from having sound. I know of no way of
disabling the sound prober in sndconfig.
