This bug has been copied from bug #500483 and has been proposed
to be backported to 5.4 z-stream (EUS).

I pushed the two patches to the RHEL54 branch of the cluster git tree.
Changing status to POST until the build is complete.

The build was successful: gfs2-utils-0.1.62-1.el5_4.1 contains this fix.
