Description of problem: sosreport includes /etc/nscd.conf, but it would also be useful to grab the debug logs if nscd is in running with debugging enabled. Attached is a patch to check if debugging is enabled in /etc/nscd.conf, and if so, include the nscd debug log in the sosreport. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): sos-1.7-9.27.el5.noarch How reproducible: every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. enable the 'logfile' and increase the 'debug-level' to 9 in /etc/nscd.conf 2. service nscd restart 3. sosreport Actual results: /etc/nscd.conf is included in the sosreport, but not /var/log/nscd.log Expected results: /var/log/nscd.log is included too Additional info:

Created attachment 369219 [details] patch to include nscd debug logs Here is an updated patch that puts a size limit of 50 MiB on the log files (similar to syslog). (If nscd runs with debugging enabled for a week or more, the log files can grow to 100s of MiBs or more.)
