Description of problem: kde-x86_64-20091111.16.iso LiveCD boot hangs if I have TPM enabled. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download kde-x86_64-20091111.16.iso, burn it and boot from it. 2. System hangs early on boot with tpm_transmit: tpm_send: error -62. Actual results: System hang on boot. Expected results: Boot normally from LiveCD. Additional info: Workaround: disable TPM from bios.

I have this same error on an LG R500. The system seems to hang but it shows these errors periodically: tpm_tis 00:09: 1.2 TPM (device-id 0xB, rev-id 16) ACPI: Battery Slot [CMB0] (battery present) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Long pause after this line tpm_tis 00:09: tpm_transmit: tpm_send: error -62 tpm_tis 00:09: tpm_transmit: tpm_send: error -62 tpm_tis 00:09: tpm_transmit: tpm_send: error -62 Serial: 8250/16550 driver, 4 ports, IRQ sharing enabled ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Booting resumes normally Booting with acpi=off alleviates the long delay (it's several minutes) but then lots of other things don't work.
