Verified by checking that update-ixgbe-for-MRG-1.1-kernel-to-version-2.0.16-k2.patch was implemented in the kernel-rt-2.6.24.7-139.src.rpm

CVS: update-ixgbe-for-MRG-1.1-kernel-to-version-2.0.16-k2.patch

Comment 5 David Sommerseth 2009-11-20 20:40:08 UTC
Moving to verified after having done several netperf tests, resulting in over 1TB of data flowing between two boxes with the Intel ixgbe based cards.

Performance between stock RHEL-5.2 kernel and 2.6.24.7-139 rt-kernel was very much comparable and did not differ much at all.

The driver seems to perform very well.
