Description Richard W.M. Jones 2009-11-17 14:21:10 UTC
Description of problem:

The issue was originally reported by Matt Booth here:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2009-November/msg00098.html

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

libguestfs 1.0.78.

Steps to Reproduce:

(Follow the steps in the mailing list report above).

Actual results:

Symlinks cannot be created.

Expected results:

Symlinks should be able to be created.

Additional info:

Seems like the symlink parameters may be swapped. We really
need to do some more automated testing on the FUSE filesystem.
At the moment it receives no testing at all.

It's also possible to test without needing root, although
you do need the FUSE kernel module.
