Description of problem: Before opening a new bug, abrt checks for existing bugs and if one is found, it subscribes users to the existing report. But it doesn't check if the bug in question was closed duplicate. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): abrt-0.0.11-1.fc12.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. reproduce a bug that you know to be CLOSED DUPLICATE 2. report it with abrt Actual results: abrt subscribes you to the bug that is CLOSED DUPLICATE Expected results: abrt should subscribe you to the original bug instead of the duplicate
Sorry, should be abrt-0.0.11-2 from updates.
Other applications are intending to switch to the "report" component (see Bug 503386) to solve this problem. Is this true for ABRT as well?
