Created attachment 373245 [details]
Output from pulseaudio -vvv

Description of problem:
Un-pausing music in gstreamer media apps such as Totem, Rhythmbox and Exaile results in a brief glitch in the audio (plays for a fraction of a second, silent for a fraction, continues playing).

Intel HDA audio w/ ALC 883 codec.

Glitching doesn't happen when Pulseaudio is not used.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pulseaudio packages 0.9.21-1.fc12.x86_64
gstreamer-0.10.25.1-1.fc12.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-good-0.10.16-7.fc12.x86_64
alsa-plugins-pulseaudio-1.0.21-2.fc12.x86_64
alsa-lib-1.0.21-3.fc12.x86_64
kernel-2.6.31.6-145.fc12.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ensure pulseaudio is running.
2. Open gstreamer media app.
3. Pause, then resume.

Comment 1 James 2010-02-10 20:20:16 UTC
The last pulseaudio without this bug was the 0.9.19 release.
