Description Johnny Mirza 2009-11-26 05:45:25 UTC
Description of problem:
when changing setting under the Admin->General section and clicking update, spacewalk times out throws out a 500 Error - Internal Server Error.

I have successfully registered clients and created channels.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.6

How reproducible:
installed spacewalk following these instructions
http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/PackageManagement/Spacewalk
and with the additional oracle steps on
https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/OracleXeSetup

Steps to Reproduce:
1.on a fresh install following the above navigate to Admin-General
2.update a field eg, proxy
3.click update

Actual results:
spacewalk times out and give a 500 error

Expected results:
should update setting, eg proxy server.

Additional info:
manually editing the /etc/rhn/rhn.conf file and restarting spacewalk from the command line works fine.

I wasn't able to reproduce described problem with Spacewalk 0.7. It seems to be fixed in the latest version.
