Description Juan 2009-11-28 20:50:48 UTC
Nautilus fails to open a ftp:// URI with user/password stored in Gnome keyring. After some time there's a timeout and a error message it's shown:

El contenido de la carpeta no se pudo mostrar.
(The folder contents couldn't be shown, or something like that)

No se pudo mostrar todo el contenido de «/ en ftp.host.dom»: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

(Unable to show the content of «/ en ftp.host.dom»:)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a user/password stored in you keyring
2. Open a nautilus and put ftp://user@ftp.host.dom in the location
3. Wait the timeout

Additional info:

This worked perfectly with Fedora 11.

Other passwords in the keyring work perfectly.

This system was upgraded from Fedora 11 and the key was already in the keyring.

I've removed the key, but after writing the password I get the same error.

May be it's related to the ftp host, because I've tried ftp://ftp.kernel.org/ and works perfectly, but this host worked with Fedora 11.

Comment 2 Juan 2009-11-28 21:00:35 UTC
"Other passwords in the keyring work perfectly." --> but not FTP/nautilus related.

Comment 3 Juan 2010-02-05 14:07:22 UTC
It's not related to the keyring.

I've filed a bug report upstream:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=609085

Comment 4 Juan 2010-02-07 20:27:16 UTC
It's been fixed in git master upstream (PASV is preferred in IPv4, and EPSV for Ipv6).
