Description jgarcia 1999-09-28 22:45:40 UTC
On a web site of ours, we are using a Radware WSD-DS load
balancer with some servers running Stronghold SSL. I have
the WSD-DS set up to assign a new server per every session
that comes in.

When I try to hit the site using Redhat 6.0 with either lynx
with SSL compiled in or Netscape 4.61, sometimes it hangs
righ there other times it gets the certificate and then
hangs. If I come in using lynx with SSL compiled in or
Netscape from Solaris 2.6 or SGI's IRIX everything works
fine. Netscape and IE also work just fine under windows.
This leads me to believe that it is a bug in RedHat linux
6.0.

Does it persist with netscape-4.7, or if you upgrade to the kernel shipped
with 6.1?

Also, if you strace one of the affected sessions, what is it doing?
