Description of problem: When starting Add/Remove Programs from the gnome menu, changes are not allowed because user privileges are not escalated. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Click System->Administration->Add/Remove Software Search for package to be installed. Select package to install. Click Apply Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click System->Administration->Add/Remove Software 2.Search for package to be installed. 3.Select package to install. 4.Click Apply Actual results: Permission Denied Expected results: Prompt for root password. Install selected software. Additional info: Updated Fedora 12. Running LTSP. Results from thinclient desktop. Have not tried from the actual server.
