The self included icu-config on source package is old and/or incompatible with current icu-config provided in upstream tarball source.

Options like --incpkgdatafile simply not exists, making porting some tools not possible, like Maemo tools from Nokia

Does this replacement work for you. (Can't take the auto-generated one because of fedora's multi-lib support requiring "icu-config" to have the same content on x86_64 and x86)

icu-4.2.1-7.fc12 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 12.

icu-4.2.1-7.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 testing repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
