Description Bojan Smojver 2009-12-02 23:31:11 UTC
Description of problem:
As of Evo 2.28, every time a calendar is published, a dialog box is displayed with success/failure. This block the UI is and is rather inconvenient. The notification should be displayed using notification functionality already available in Gnome. This functionality is already used by Evo, for instance when new mail arrives. So, it should be no problem to implement.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
evolution-2.28.0-2.fc12.i686

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a calendar to publish on the web.
2. Wait for notification when it gets published.

Actual results:
Notification blocks UI.

Expected results:
Should use regular Gnome notification machinery for this.

Additional info:
This was not the case in Evo 2.26. There was no notification at all, which is bad, but not as bad as this.
