Description of problem:
"mpc idle" consumes 100% CPU.  This problem was fixed in 0.17.  The current upstream release is 0.18.  Fedora 12 has 0.16.

Always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. run "mpc idle"

consumes 100% CPU

consumes no CPU

Thanks for letting me know. 0.18 requires libmpdclient, which is not available in Fedora. I have to get it included first and will then update mpc.

I have built mpc 0.19 for rawhide. Please re-open if you want it for F-12.
