Right-click, Show Menubar OR 1. Open gnome-terminal 2. Right-click, Profiles, Profile Preferences, Show menubar by default in new terminals. 3. Close all terminals 4. Open gnome-terminal Actual results: Menubar does not display.

Do you have that global-menu thing installed ?
I do have these two RPMs installed: gnome-globalmenu-common-0.7.8-1.fc12.x86_64 gnome-applet-globalmenu-0.7.8-1.fc12.x86_64
The bug goes away after: 1) Removing gnome-globalmenu-common and gnome-applet-globalmenu. 2) Logging out of the gnome-session and re-logging in.
Not a gnome-terminal bug, then.
I just encountered this and spent 3 hours troubleshooting a non-existent fault. This should not be enabled until it is actually installed into the gnome panel. Enabling it as soon as it is installed is not a good idea, nor is it easy to figure out why all of the menus are gone from every application you run.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 12 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 12.
