Yeah I gave up on Linux about a year ago so go ahead and close this bug. Linux is just not usable for people like me who need a functional operating system that doesn't require a degree in geek. I just couldn't wait a couple years to have sound on my computer. I'm a Mac user now anyway, don't really need to deal with this kind of stuff it just works. Linux doesn't.
