Description Ricky Zhou 2009-12-08 21:33:31 UTC
Created attachment 377015 [details]
Remove unetbootin, and describe the dd method for creating Live USBs.

As mentioned at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Common_F12_bugs#Live_USB_sticks_created_with_unetbootin_do_not_work?,
unetbootin doesn't work on F12 (and now that the Live CD can be made into a
Live USB using dd, I don't think we should even mention unetbootin anymore).

Attached is a patch to remove the mention, as well as add a line about the dd method for creating Live USBs.

Comment 1 Ruediger Landmann 2010-01-13 06:21:53 UTC
Well, we don't actually support *anything*, particularly people doing stuff on other operating systems...

That said, since unetbootin isn't working, we really can't suggest it to people. Thanks for the patch, Ricky!

Cheers

Rudi
