Description Michal Schmidt 2009-12-10 14:24:11 UTC
Created attachment 377457 [details]
do not show updated packages in "additional packages" dialog

Description of problem:
When I confirm installation of updated packages in gpk-update-viewer, a dialog box "NN additional update also has to be installed" pops up, listing _all_ the updated packages, even when none of them are additional.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-packagekit-2.28.2-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-device-rebind-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-browser-plugin-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-debug-install-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-yum-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-glib-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-glib-devel-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-gstreamer-plugin-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-gtk-module-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-yum-plugin-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
PackageKit-command-not-found-0.5.5-1.fc12.x86_64
yum-3.2.25-1.fc12.noarch

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just use gpk-update-viewer to update any set of packages.

Actual results:
The "additional update" dialog always pops up and lists all updated packages.

Expected results:
The "additional update" dialog should only pop up if any new packages will have to be installed for dependencies and list only those.

Additional info:
This attached patch fixes it for me.
